The Door Supervisor course is a 6-day course that is mandatory to complete before applying for the SIA licence.
To become a door supervisor, you need an SIA Door Supervisor licence. You will need to take a Door Supervisor training course to apply for the licence. It is also mandatory to have a first aid qualification before you start your training course.
The SIA Door Supervisor training is a comprehensive 6-day course that covers all aspects of professional door supervision. Before starting the course, you must have a valid First Aid qualification (Emergency First Aid at Work certificate or higher). Upon successful completion, you’ll be eligible to apply for your SIA Door Supervisor licence.
The course fee does not include the licence fee. The licence application fee of £204 is payable directly to the SIA when applying for the licence, which is valid for three years.
Unfortunately, we do not accept ILA funding.
The SIA licence is only valid in the UK. You will not be able to use the SIA licence for work in any other country.
You can apply for your SIA licence as soon as you have passed your course. For more information, watch the full video.
Most people pass this course without any problem – at times, some people fail one or more units of the course but don’t you worry, you are in safe hands with Get Licensed. Our Flexi+ package allows you to do unlimited re-takes at no extra cost. Our admin resit fee is £100. Our admin rebooking fee is £170.
We hate it when training providers have to cancel a course – but it can happen for reasons outside our control. If your course is cancelled – we will offer you an alternate date, if that date is not suitable we will offer you an instant refund.
